In the case of a steam trap breaking down there will always be a constant flow because the bucket remains in the lower part of the steam trap.
Steam traps made of forged steel are resistant to freezing. If frozen, with the steam/condensate being shut off, there is no tear of the body but only screw unsealing.
Replacement of the penetration nozzle in the steam trap is possible .
